"Meant between the zombies and vampires," Lafayette admits, a little guiltily, watching her slip the pistol from the holster she wears. She's a woman he knows he can respect. Lafayette never did have time for the sort of people, in general, who shied away from the shittier side of life. Life was hard, he'd always been honest with himself about that. And for most folks, not very glamorous, either. "Killing folks. Bringing them back to life. Destroying folks. Only difference is, vampires do it with personality, I guess."
